<a href="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/x-HDg1YudI4/maxresdefault.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://i.ytimg.com/vi/x-HDg1YudI4/maxresdefault.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
Powdery soap or detergent are mostly used in the washing of clothe, mopping of floors and many other applications that the user might deem fit. You are advised to ensure that you keep strictly to the formulation given in this short guide below:<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<br />
<b>EQUIPMENT YOU NEED</b><br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Below are the equipment needed for the production of powder detergent.</li>
<li>Drier and pulveriser (mesh net)</li>
<li>Mixer with stirrer</li>
<li>Casting moulds</li>
<li>Heater</li>
<li>Cutter (knife)</li>
<li>Shaping machine</li>
<li>Stamping machine</li>
<li>Hydrometer</li>
<li>Weighing scale</li>
<li>Measuring container</li>
<li>Packaging materials</li>
</ul>
<br />
<br />
<b>Note:</b> that these equipment are only required when you want to go into large scale production. For beginners, you can start producing with basic household tools and a few other cheap stuff.<br />
<br />
<b>FORMULATION TABLE</b><br />
<br />
<ul>
<li>Chemicals and the required quantity</li>
<li>Palm kernel oil or fatty acid 4 LITRES</li>
<li>Caustic soda 1 KG</li>
<li>Soda ash 2 KG</li>
<li>Hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) ½ LITRES</li>
<li>Ammonium 30 MILI LITRES (MLS)</li>
<li>Industrial salt (Na2CO3) 150 MLS</li>
<li>Colourant TO TASTE</li>
<li>Perfume TO TASTE</li>
<li>Foaming agent 250 MLS</li>
<li>Sulphuric acid 30 MLS</li>
</ul>
<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>PROCEDURE</b><br />
Prepare the caustic soda solution as described in the production of laundry soap and ensure that the density is at the stated value.<br />
<br />
Allow to stand for three days (72 hrs) minimum. You can allow it to stand for more than three days if you want but should not use when it is not up to 3 days.<br />
<br />
The reason why some powdery detergent is corrosive is because the caustic soda did not blend long enough in water before starting the production process.<br />
<br />
Add the soda ash to the caustic soda solution and stir very well until uniformly blended<br />
<br />
Pour the palm kernel oil into the mixture and add the colourant while stirring vigorously (only in clockwise direction) till it blends well.<br />
<br />
Add the hydrogen peroxide, ammonium, industrial salt, fuming agent and the perfume into the mixture above.<br />
<br />
Pour into a dryer for drying or spread under the sun to dry<br />
<br />
After drying pulverize or grate and then sieve.<br />
<br />
Package into sachets for the market<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">HOW MARKET OR SELL YOUR FINISHED PRODUCT</span></b><br />
As someone started out small and new, you will have to remove shyness and pride in order for you to make it successful as an entrepreneur.<br />
<br />
Your best marketing strategy is to make use of your existing connections like- Church members, neighbors, close friends, family, and then try meeting people at motor packs near you, market women; start with your customer and tell her to refer your product to other market women she's close to....always ask for referral in order to grow your marketing environment and offer incentives....like you can create an incentive system to reward customer who buys your product consistently for say 3 months.<br />
<br />
You can buy kitchen utensil, plates, food flask, spoons, recharge card, clock, etc at discount prices and give to your dedicated customers at the end of each business quarter.<br />

<br />
How to Make Liquid Soap<br />
<br />
The first thing you need to know is that making soap is science. This type of science is an exact science. There is no a little of this and a little of that. Exactly so much lye plus water plus exactly so much fat will make soap. If you get that wrong then you can burn your skin. So, if you think you are beyond following exact measurements than you should probably not try to make soap. If you can handle using a scale and weighing things properly then you can have a lot of fun making soap! There is a forgiving margin of error, but not so much that you don’t have to weigh everything.<br />
<br />
<b>Equipment You Will Need to Make Soap</b><br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
The equipment you will need to make your liquid soap is a stainless steel pot, a large stainless steel spoon, a hand blender (immersion blender), an electronic digital scale like a postal scale, protective glasses, rubber gloves and a 40-ounce or larger glass or plastic jar. The reason you need stainless steel is because other metals will react with the lye and that can be a dangerous reaction. Stainless steel doesn’t react. If you don’t know if your pot is stainless steel and it doesn’t say on the bottom of the pot, then use a glass pot or a bowl that is ceramic, glass, or stainless steel.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>The Liquid Soap Recipe</b><br />
<br />
16 ounce of Palm Oil<br />
6 ounces of Coconut Oil<br />
<br />
4.5 ounces of Potassium Hydroxide<br />
38 ounces of COLD water<br />
<br />
This liquid soap recipe makes 64 ounces of liquid soap. It is opaque and not transparent. It should be very gentle on the skin.<br />
<br />
<b>How to Make Lye Solution</b><br />
<br />
Get out the electronic scale and weigh out 38 ounces of COLD water and pour it into your large glass or plastic jar.<br />
<br />
Next put on your protective eye glasses and rubber gloves. You absolutely need protective wear when handing potassium hydroxide because it will burn your skin if one crumb of it gets on you. Put a plastic container on your scale then turn on the scale. It will read zero even though the bowl is on top of the scale. Carefully add the potassium hydroxide (lye) to the bowl until it is 4.5 ounces. Remove the lye and set aside.<br />
<br />
Take both the bowl of lye and the jar of water outside and slowly sprinkle the lye on the water. Make sure to not have your face directly over this mixture while you are mixing it together. It will give off a gas and that gas will make you cough. This is why you are mixing it outside. After about 1 minute of mixing you can bring the mixture inside.<br />
<br />
You will notice that when you mix the lye with the cold water that it generates a lot of heat. That is the chemical reaction going on and giving off heat. This is normal.<br />
<br />
Lye solution (potassium hydroxide and water) is a toxic solution. If anyone or anything drinks it then they will die. So, you do not leave this anywhere where any pet, child or adult might drink it thinking that it is lemonade or something else. Only make lye solution when you are ready to use it for this reason.<br />
<br />
Allow your lye solution to cool down as much as possible. When it is cool enough to put your hand on the glass jar and it is just warm, that is ideal. If it is too hot to touch the outside of the jar then it is too hot to use. Do not stick your finger in the jar. It is caustic and will badly burn your finger. When the lye solution is cool enough to use, go to the next step.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Heat Your Fats</b><br />
<br />
The fats you are using for this liquid soap are palm oil and coconut oil. You can purchase coconut oil at most grocery stores. The most popular brand is Lou Ana, but you can buy the least expensive brand. They are all the same as long as they are 100% pure coconut oil. For palm oil you will need to buy it mail order unless you can find a vegetable shortening that is 100% palm oil. If you need to buy online, Columbus Foods has a good price for palm oil. The palm oil you want is the Palm Oil RBD (Refined, Bleached, and Deodorized).<br />
<br />
Pour your fats into your stainless steel pot and heat the oils until they reach a temperature of anywhere from 110 to 140 degrees. When it is in that range then turn off the heat and place the pot into your sink. Plug in your hand blender and have it ready to use.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>It is Time to Make Soap</b><br />
<br />
Put on your safety glasses and rubber gloves. Carefully pour the lye solution into the heated oils that are in the pot and stir with the large spoon. Be very careful not to splash the raw soap solution on you. Put your hand blender into the pot and turn it on. Blend with your blender for a minute then stir with your spoon for a minute. Be careful to not over blend the soap. Blend it only until it looks like it is staying together and not separating. This will only take a minute or two.<br />
<br />
Put a cover on your pot and let it sit undisturbed for a full 24 hours. If you feel the side of the pot you will notice that it is warm. The chemical reaction will continue to generate heat while it turns the fats, lye and water into soap.<br />
<br />
Once the 24 hours are up, you can remove the cover and stir. It should be ready and safe to use. It is always a good idea to have a pH meter or pH papers around to test the soap before you use it. Sometimes you think you followed the directions carefully but you missed something. If you did not do the measuring properly or heat it properly then you won’t have soap at the end of the process. You will have lye solution and fats. If the recipe was not done properly then it will burn your skin. If you have a pH meter or pH papers then the pH of this liquid soap should be around 10. If the pH is 12 or higher then it is going to burn your skin.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Add Color and Scent</b><br />
<br />
If you would like your homemade liquid soap to have a special smell then you can add any skin safe soap making fragrance to it. How much to use depends on the fragrance that you buy. Generally, the less expensive ones are the one you will need to use about 1 ounce per pound of soap. The more expensive fragrances you use about 25% of that. So, follow the directions from your soap making supplier on how much to use in your liquid soap. It is best if you start off with less because you can always add more. You cannot use cologne because it contains alcohol. Alcohol and other perfume fillers are going to have a bad reaction with your soap. Do not use potpourri oils because they are not safe to use on the skin. Hand stir your fragrance into the soap and do not use the hand blender.<br />
<br />
For coloring you also need to make sure you buy a skin safe color to add to your liquid soap. Candle dyes are not skin safe colorants, they are approved for candles, but not for skin care products. Purchase your colorants from a reputable soap making supplies company. Hand stir your colorant into the soap.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Liquid Soap Making Without Using Lye</b><br />
<br />
You can make liquid soap another way. A lot of people do not want to use lye or don’t have it in the house because it is a dangerous substance. It is also so old fashioned that it is getting harder and harder to find in stores.<br />
<br />
You can make a liquid soap by purchasing a bar of soap. It does need to be 100% pure soap and not a detergent bar. Ivory soap is pure soap, a detergent bar would be Dial, Dove and most other bars. Use a cheese grater and grate up a bar of Ivory soap. Put it in a large bowl and add 3 cups of boiling water to it. Stir and let it sit overnight.<br />
<br />
In the morning, stir it and you will see it become very thick and satiny. If it is too thick then you can add another cup of water, stir it in and let it sit all day. You can keep adding water when it thickens up on you again. It does tend to thicken up over time. You can add any skin safe fragrance or skin safe colorant to this type of liquid soap also. There is no way to get rid of the Ivory scent, but you can add enough fragrance to cover it up with a different scent.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Preservatives Are Needed</b><br />
<br />
Preservatives are needed for liquid soap making, oddly enough. You would think that given it is soap that it wouldn’t need one, but it does. Anything with water in it that sits around needs an antimicrobial. If you don’t want to use one then you can make just enough soap to use for a month and then make another fresh batch. If you want to add an antimicrobial to your liquid soap then you can buy one at the bigger soap making supply companies.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://nairabrains.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/12/young_entrepreneurs.jpg" /></div>
<b>Introduction</b><br />
There is always a divide as to the question _ Are entrepreneurs Born or Made. However many response ae in support of the divide that Entrepreneurs are born, not made – that what leads someone to become a successful entrepreneur has more to do with their personality and innate qualities than anything learned through formal education.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<b>Entrepreneurs Born</b><br />
The biographies of several successful entrepreneurs _ as Richard Branson, Alan Sugar and Theo Paphitis, all of whom left school at 16 to make their own way in the world of business, add to the impression that entrepreneurs are born not made. The idea that certain entrepreneurial traits – such as being able to spot opportunities, think differently and take risks – may be inherent has even led to a whole new area of genetic research. Other stories to support the notion of entrepreneurs been born includes - Story of the Walmart, Jae Yong etc.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>My View:</b><br />
My view on this has largely been affected due to my Atheistic Believe that nothing is inherent/genetic; That we are products of who we work to be _ Everything we are, We struggle and Work for. However, recently i am beginning to drop this ideology, to the other side of the divide that entrepreneurs are born and not made.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">Reason For Question:</span></b><br />
In time past, i have always argued that if i am handed just N1 Million, i will invest and become rich to the likes of Dangote, Otedola, A. A Rano, Wale Tinubu, Bello Osaghie, Pascal Dozie, Mike Adenuga but to mention a few. Today, am in that spot (have the necessary resources) which i have always dreamt to be in other to rise to the height of Dangote etc. and have found out its not easy brainstorming or finding that right idea or been a successful entrepreneur.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">All these got me thinking, are successful entrepreneurs born or made or lucky?</span></b><br />
<br />
<b>Note: </b>i don't believe in luck. But couldn't help chipping this in</div>

Success comes in many ways, but today, success in life is mostly measured in the amount of financial wealth one has acquired, which can be in raw cash or assets (land, structures, cars, jets, etc).<br />
<br />

You may find it difficult to believe that some people get so angry when they hear that their mate, peer, friend, or even family member is making it big in life. These class of people can grow so angry to the extent of seeking for ways to hurt or harm the other successful person.<br />
<br />
They are usually filled with hate and envy when they hear or read about other peoples' success.<br />
<br />
If you have this trait in you, or know someone that does, I am sorry to tell you that you or that other person with this trait will most likely not be rich in life because success is like a reverse magnet which attracts likes.<br />

<strong>2. You love finding and providing solutions to people's problems:</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
The easiest and most guaranteed way to make money in life is to offer solution to people's daily problems and life challenges.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">

So if you have this inborn passion and trait of always looking for ways to help people solve their life issues and challenges, then you are not far from being rich, all you need is proper channelling of your effort.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">

<strong>3. You have a special talent or skill:</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Talent is wealth waiting to be harnessed, so if you have a special talent like singing, weaving, drawing, painting, cooking, dancing, programming, writing, crafting, etc, then you are a potential rich person waiting to explode.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
All you need is proper channelling and monetization of your talent and skill, and you are rich.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<strong>4. You spot opportunities easily:</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Potential rich people have this unique trait of spotting opportunities ahead of others.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Where others see disaster, they see wealth.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Where others foresee failure, they see success.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Where others see challenges, they spot the way out; that's a key trait of potential rich person waiting to explode.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
For instance, some decades ago, many Nigerians saw waste as a doom waiting to take over and probably destroy Nigeria's environment, but the potential wealthy people saw untapped opportunity to amass wealth for themselves, and today, waste recycling is a mega-million business in Nigeria.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Another example is the issue of public toilet system which many criticised and waited for government to do miracle for the masses, but some smart Nigerians took advantage of this problem and initiated the mobile toilet system now trending in major Nigerian cities, and I can assure you that the initiator of that mobile toilet is making millions on weekly basis while others who only see doom and problems keep on criticising government for not providing public toilet for the masses.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Meanwhile, I am not trying to support government for being irresponsible, but all I am saying is that potential rich people always spot opportunity to make money ahead of others.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
So if you are one of those who easily spot money making opportunities ahead of others, then be rest assured that you are destined to be rich, all you need is to harness this talent and you will blow.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<strong>5. You hate school:</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Don't be fooled, going to school isn't a guarantee that you will be rich or financially successful in life.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
In fact, recent studies have shown that most wealthy people in the world, who are mostly entrepreneurs detest classroom study; they preferred real life scenario involving practicals to classroom discussion.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
The research also showed that most successful people preferred facing real life challenges than sitting in a classroom to write a paper exam.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Meanwhile, this doesn't mean you shouldn't acquire a higher educational qualification if you can. But do note that educational qualification is never a guarantee to becoming rich even though it can assist in some areas.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<strong>6. You love business:</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
If you have this natural zeal to always start up a business from whatever resources you have and business idea around you, then you have a high tendency of becoming rich in life.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Potential rich people find pleasure in doing business; in fact, they turn every little idea they have into a business venture.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
This is irrespective of what they do; whether they are working for someone or not, they can't stop the zeal and passion to start up a business to diversify their income source.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
On the contrary, those that may never be rich except by the special grace of God and luck, hardly think of starting up a business. They are always afraid of loosing their meagre savings, they are very comfortable receiving salary every month.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
These class of people see disaster in anything entrepreneurship or business. To them, doing business is a waste of time and resources because they have this innate belief that business is not for them.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
If you have this trait explained above, then I am sorry to tell you that you may never be rich except God and luck comes in.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Very few people become rich by working for a monthly salary. Most salary earners you do think are rich aren't rich, they are only comfortable and average.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Being rich comes with freedom and independence. A salary earner isn't free, because he is answerable to his employer who can decide to terminate his or her job anytime he so wishes.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
So if you have this natural zeal to turn ideas and information available to you into a business venture, then I am here to announce the good news to you that your chances of becoming rich is very big, and all you need to do to enter into your wealth accumulation is to channel your ideas properly and then make the right friends to guide you to your financial success.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<strong>7. You love women:</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000026702881px;">If your brother, boyfriend or fiance always snares and condemns super-gorgeous women and call them demeaning names, I am sorry to tell you that he may never be rich; because potential poor men tend to beef gorgeous women simply because they think they can't have such women.</span></span><br />
<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000026702881px;"><br /></span></span>
<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "arial" , "helvetica" , sans-serif;"><span style="font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000026702881px;">Mind you, this is only applicable to men.</span></span><br />
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
This is only applicable to men.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">

<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
as it may sound, this is another sign that shows that a man will be financially successful if he channels his energy properly.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">

<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Now, you maybe wondering what's behind this point, sit back and read the next paragraphs.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Do you know that most, if not all rich men womanizes? From rich entertainers (comedians, musicians, actors), to sportsmen, to athletes, to models, to politicians, to businessmen, to pilots, to journalists, presenters, etc</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Fortunately or unfortunately, these men didn't just start loving women when they became rich, instead it is their love for super-pretty women that most times inspired them into working extra hard and smart to acquire money knowing fully well that for them to enjoy what they love- pretty women, they need to be rich and famous.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
My personal research also showed that majority of men who fancy very pretty women are usually very talented and smart.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Any man that doesn't fancy having super-pretty women around him and at his beck and call will most likely not be rich, except he channels his gift towards Church ministry and evangelism.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
So if you are a young man who fancies being with super-pretty women, you have a very high tendency of becoming rich if you channel your energy properly.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
And to the ladies reading, don't panick, it is not new; virtually all rich men flirt with pretty women because to them, having pretty ladies surround them is part of the rewards for their hardwork; that is why you see very wealthy and powerful men acting like babies when they are with a pretty female model.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>

<strong>8. You aren't obsessed with your looks:</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">

If you are one of those who are so consumed with how beautiful or handsome you look such that you spend most of your productive time thinking and worrying about what clothe to wear, which cream to rob to make your skin glow and which hair style to do to make you look like someone else, then I am sorry to tell you that your chances of becoming rich in life is very slim unless you channel your freak and obsession for fashion and good looks into modelling, acting and </div>

<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
industry.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Now, in case you don't know, know it now that most successful people (men and women) paid less attention to how beautiful or handsome they looked before they made it big. Most of them started being conscious of what they wear or how they look after they have made money.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">

<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Looking good is a costly business on its own, so for you to start off being obsessed with how you look and what you wear, may likely mar your chances of succeeding financially.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">

<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
That doesn't mean you should start dressing shabby and looking unkempt in order to become rich, please that's not my advice.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">

<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
All I am saying is: majority of rich people who made it outside </div>

and fashion industry were never obsessed with their physical looks, instead they focused on harnessing their God-given talent and skill to make a name for themselves and thereafter started paying attention to their physical appearance and beauty.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<strong>9. You believe in a superior being:</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Any man or woman with no spiritual stronghold is like a dust which can be blown away easily by any wind.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
If you do not believe in the existence of a superior being; be it God Almighty or whatever god you believe in, then your chances of becoming rich is very slim because no matter how talented you are, you need a spiritual backup to fulfil your physical tasks on this earth.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
In one of my yet to be published books, I took time to explain how humans are connected with the spirit rems, which play a pivotal role in determining our performance here on earth.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Most successful people you know or hear about have strong spiritual backup, and they don't play with their spiritual backup; be it in terms of paying tithe, pouring libation, performing rituals and sacrifices, etc.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Don't be deceived, God exist and God is supreme!</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<strong>10. You have passion and empathy:</strong></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Most successful people have passion to help those in need; be it there immediate family members, friends or kinsmen.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
It is this passion that inspires most of them to greatness.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Example is Manny Pachio, the great Philipino boxer, and many more that will form a whole book to compile.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
I am aware that there are mean and heartless people who are also rich and famous, but get close to them and you will observe that they have passion in them.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
Moreover, most mean or heartless people who are rich usually acquired their wealth through heartless and crafty ways.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
But if you are destined to be rich without soiling your hands, then you must be passionate about others.</div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
<br /></div>
<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">
I am going to drop my pen for now, please do check some of my informative books published on Amazon Kindle store and Lulu.</div>

<div style="color: #333333; font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13.8000001907349px; line-height: 20.7000007629395px;">

<span style="background: white;">While many young people in Nigeria
are busy wasting their precious time on instagram and facebook following
celebrities that add no positive impact on their lives, some smart young people
from other countries of the world are busy creating wealth from the wonderful

you have been wasting your time on.<o:p></o:p></span></div>

Introducing<b> Danielle Bernstein</b>, the personal-style blogger behind 'we wore what'. She recently disclosed in an interview with Harper's Bazzar that she can make as much as a whooping $15,000 from one Instagram post! It's not magic, the money comes from fashion brands who want to get their products noticed by the close to a million followers that Bernstein has on IG. Interesting thing - this babe is just 22!!!</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
According to Business Insider,</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Like many other fashion bloggers, Bernstein posts seemingly casual snapshots of her daily outfits, along with information about how to buy the clothes and accessories that she's wearing.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
What her followers might not guess is that many of those posts are the result of negotiations with fashion and lifestyle brands who might ask her to not include any competitors' products in the same shot, or even in any other Instagram posts that week.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
They're willing to pay a high price tag for that. According to Harper's Bazaar, brands spend more than $1 billion each year on sponsored Instagram posts.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
The exact amount that companies pay is directly connected to the number of followers that an Instagram user has. When Bernstein hits the million-follower mark, she'll be able to charge even more for a single post.</div>

<b>Harper's Bazaar</b> explains,</div>

<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
On average, if you have hundreds of thousands of followers you can make anywhere from $500 to $5,000 a post, but if you have upwards of 6 million followers, your fee can be $20,000 to $100,000 a shot.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
Though Bernstein wouldn't say how much she earns through blogging and sponsored Instagram posts, she did admit that "it's more than I could have ever imagined [making] as a 22-year-old."</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">
She added, "I fully support myself, and it's in the mid-six figures. I save; I invest; I'm trying to be smart about it all and learn as I go."</div>
<div class="MsoNormal">

<div class="MsoNormal">
The question now is, how did she manage to grow such a large followership? That's where the work is. Perhaps, you want to do a research 'how to grow a large fan base on Instagram' now? </div>

AWKA — THE old spare parts market at Nkpor, near the commercial city of Onitsha, has virtually turned into a Mecca of sort following the completion of a dredging machine which cost about N10 million by a motor mechanic in the area, Mr. David Ezenwa. The equipment, which took five months to complete has been transported to Aguleri water-front in Anambra East local government area where it is expected to be put to use soon, Ezenwa’s workshop at No 5 Awgbu street, Nkpor was the cynosure of all eyes as people gathered to admire the equipment because of its size and sophistication.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
Materials that formed the major components of the equipment include a 12mm metallic pan, 10 inch sand sorting pump, 10 cylinders Mercedes Benz engine, self loader sand sucking pump, blaster pump which helps to soften the sand, a sand cutter, another four cylinders 608 Mercedez Benz engine for the pump, a dashboard for electrical indication and pipes that carry the sand from the water to its place of deposit.<br />
<br />
On completion, the equipment is almost the size of a small bridge. Ezenwa, who is from Abatete in Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State, said his interest in fabrication started when he was young which was why he became a motor mechanic after leaving school.<br />
<br />
He said: “I have a friend who is an engineer and is into machine fabrication and he advised me to go into equipment construction because he discovered that I am talented in the area.<br />
<br />
On my own, I started assembling the materials after designing it. I developed interest in the dredging machine after seeing one in operation and determined that I would build it. “Despite the high cost, I picked up courage and started it in December, 2014 and completed it in May, 2015. The machine has been tested and proved to be in perfect working condition and arrangement has been completed for it to be mounted on the bank of Omambala River in Aguleri where it will be used for sand dredging.”<br />
<br />
The dredging machine, Ezenwa said, has a pumping capacity of 300 trips of sand per day and has a discharging capacity of over 800 meters from the river bank where trucks can load the sands to various destinations. Though Ezenwa said he did not borrow money to complete the equipment, he explained that he could mass produce it if he was able to get financial assistance from government or financial institutions.<br />
<br />
According to him, financing the project was very difficult, adding that although some people had made inquiries about the cost for me to build the machine for them, they were discouraged by the enormous cost. “All these while, many people who came to this workshop were wondering what I was doing, but I am happy that despite the initial hiccups, we have been able to complete it to the glory of God,” he said.<br />

Now for those of you that always complain of poor networks from those network providers, meet their founders(CEO), so you can properly channel your grievance to them whenever their network is slow or zaps your data.<br />

<br />
<b>2. Airtel</b> – The CEO of Airtel is Indian Gopal Vittal, the company founded on July 1995. Though the founder is Sunil Bharti Mittal and hence the name of the company you hear as Bharti Airtel.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://africamusiclaw.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/12/Jason-Njoku-and-Bastian-Gotter-iROKOtv.jpg" /></div>
In 2013, a FastCompany feature piece on Jason Njoku of IROKOtv said, “Iroko’s Jason Njoku Is Creating The Next Netflix In Nigeria“. Maybe that’s what got Netflix’s attention, maybe not. But that piece has certainly proved correct today.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
According to IROKOtv CEO, Jason Njoku, IROKOtv has signed a deal with Netflix to support their launch of a dedicated African section, on Netflix.<br />
<br />
Netflix, the world’s leading internet TV service, famous for shows such as House of Cards and Orange is the New Black, quite recently featured Nigerian movie, October 1st and now, courtesy of IROKOtv, they will feature a larger assortment of African content.<br />
<br />
While the terms of the deal are not clear yet, it is a favorable distribution model for IROKOtv as it continues in its quest to bring Internet TV and African content together.<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="426" src="http://techpoint.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/iroko-tv-office-1024x683.jpg" width="640" /></div>
Why this move? Asides from the fact that Netflix has 57m subscribers globally, and will definitely improve the visibility of Nollywood, Jason says, “This is something I yearned for with YouTube so many years ago, and was ultimately the reason I created IROKOtv.”<br />
<br />
I think about competition in many dimensions. When I burn bridges to focus, they burn. IROKO’s focus is on Android, super encoded and compressed downloads in Lagos. We have established a beach head. We want to win Lagos. Scratch that. We need to win Lagos. I am betting the entire company on it. We are bringing Internet TV to Africa. Lagos first. City by city, thereafter. We are still trying to establish the right price, access (downloads vs streaming) and content mix to drive this mandate. African movies on Netflix has little impact on that, remember, and I have said this numerous times. – Jason Njoku, CEO of IROKOtv<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="341" src="http://techpoint.ng/wp-content/uploads/2015/03/jason-njoku-signature-pose-750x400.jpg" width="640" /></div>
IROKOtv has recently been making ambitious moves like this to put Nollywood on the radar, Techloy’s Loy Okezie certainly predicted how audacious it could get. Two days ago, IROKOtv also signed a deal with African pay TV platform, StarTimes to launch two brand new linear TV channels, IROKO Play and IROKO Plus to launch on the 1st of May, 2015.<br />
<br />
Jason ended his blog post with the quote, “iROKOtv is not the Netflix of Africa.“? Do I agree? Maybe. They’re certainly poised to do better things for African content than Netflix would<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-7osBBqEq1FU/UjVi8VXH5ZI/AAAAAAAAAn0/nLDCoa-V-V0/s1600/fish.png" /></div>
A fish farm or fish based business could easily generate a good amount of money.<br />
<br />
Even if you are not a traditional fish farmer, you could easily make a steady income from your home, using aquaculture fish farming techniques.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
Fish is increasingly becoming more popular as a source of protein, and it could easily feed a small family with little cost or overheads.<br />
<br />
There are also other benefits of fish farming.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">Starting Your Own Business</span></b><br />
<br />
Starting any kind of business needs knowledge and experience in the related field. If you are new to the fishing business, it might be a good idea to start small and gather experience as you progress.<br />
<br />
Managing a business requires many of the administrative skills, be it fish farming or any other business. It also means that you will not have a boss to give you directions and you will have to make decisions on your own, or with your partners.<br />
<br />
<b>Your first step - gain knowledge</b><br />
<br />
To start your own in the aquaculture fish industry, you must first learn all about fish farming. Learning about fish farms will prepare you to make educated decisions.<br />
<br />
Visit some of the fish farms in your locality or meet with people just like you who have entered the fish industry. The internet is vast source of knowledge.<br />
<br />
Consider signing up for classes visit webinars and such, if you can, to gather more information about the business.<br />
<br />
Every business has its own challenges, and you should do whatever it takes to gain firsthand knowledge about the business.<br />
<br />
Taking a part time job at local fishery might also give you hands on experience.<br />
<br />
Set your goals<br />
<br />
Setting your goals before you start your business is very important at the beginning of your venture.<br />
<br />
You should know exactly what you are going to produce, in what amounts, how many people you will need, how much money you will spend, and how much profit you can expect from your business.<br />
<br />
This would be the first step for you towards making a business plan. Preparing a business plan will allow you to incorporate your business, get necessary government documents or licensing.<br />
<br />
You will also need a business plan to get funding from a bank or get investors.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">Analyze Your Market</span></b><br />
<br />
Once you know what your options are and how much money you need, the next step should be analyzing your target market.<br />
<br />
Who are your buyers?<br />
What type of fish is most profitable?<br />
How much can you supply?<br />
Have you contacted anyone for your special needs or in case an emergency arises?<br />
Have you considered all expenses associated with your business?<br />
<br />
You need to think all these through.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">Setup Your Business</span></b><br />
<br />
Since you want to start small, you can setup a fishing pond right in your backyard. It is also possible to raise fish in a fish tank in your garage or indoors.<br />
<br />
You can easily get all the supplies you need to set up your small fish farm and start fish farming. If you have buyers ready or know that you can easily sell your fish, make your fishing pond or tank big enough to make enough production.<br />
<br />
Buy your supplies at wholesale prices. You can find wholesale fish supply stores online as well.<br />
<br />
Fish farming - Building sustainable fish farm in your backyard<br />
<br />
If you have decided to operate from home, you could designate a place in your backyard for a pond. You could easily dig a pond, and put fish in it.<br />
<br />
You may have to process your water to make it suitable for young fish. You can buy small bags of fish from hatchery near you.<br />
<br />
Make them you feed your fish with appropriate proper diet and take care of your pond or fish tank.<br />
<br />
Harvest your fish and enjoy!!!</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<img src="http://cdn.vectorstock.com/i/composite/52,92/business-people-secret-vector-955292.jpg" /></div>
Guarding your business secrets and confidential Information is advisable and imperative in order to prevent improper disclosure of your mojo to competitors or the public. Secret formulas, drawings, ingredients, Manufacturer's contact are all information that should be protected and never released just for free.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
Too many, diluting the words of the first paragraph, would sound as a big shock, noting the fact that I have been known since time immemorial for sharing contact details/ formulas / secrets / working drawing of past- ongoing - future business deals that i have carried out successfully in the aspect of importation. Too some, at the sight of the topic will say to themselves either subconsciously or not. Ymodulus has learned. Well yes I have.<br />
<br />
<b>These are my reasons;</b><br />
1. Favor For Favor<br />
2. Monopolistic Behavior even when they were given such ideas on a platter of gold.<br />
3. Some make more than u the originator, and not even remembering u<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">1. Favour for Favour</span></b><br />
If you belong to the class that a favor given today will not directly or indirectly pave the way for a favour tomorrow, then you are dreaming. Even in the Holy Book of the Bible, David protecting Nabal’s cattle and expecting food in return, Jesus – Christ and God sacrificing their life and turning back to punish humans in the name of freedom of choice are both epitome examples of favour for favour.<br />
<br />
<b>Example 1:</b><br />
This happened between me and a supposed – internet friend. November 2nd this month.<br />
<br />
Friend: Hi! Ymodulus am Bleep from nairaland. I got your contact.<br />
<br />
Ymodulus: Ok. How can I help u?<br />
<br />
Friend: Please can you help me with any seller details for PlayStation 4? I saw on Alibaba but am scared as negative comments.<br />
<br />
Ymodulus: Guy do not risk your money buying PlayStation 4 from china, they will sell you fake one of 64GB telling you its 500GB.<br />
<br />
Friend: So please how do I get a good one?<br />
<br />
Ymodulus: Ok call me later in the evening I will send you the contact of a trusted Seller. Also I will give you someone that will help verify the PlayStation after paying before it leaves China<br />
<br />
Friend: Thanks so much<br />
** Friend begins praises and eulogies **<br />
***** I sent him all the contacts same day for free and without asking him even recharge card***<br />
<br />
<br />
This Occurred Wednesday, 9th of November.<br />
<br />
I tried contacting my PlayStation 4 Seller and found out I misplaced the contact. I quickly checked my Phone contacts and call this Unknown Nairalander.<br />
<br />
Ymodulus: Hi afternoon its Ymodulus.<br />
Friend: I know na. Afternoon boss<br />
Ymodulus: Bros abeg I lost that my playstation 4 seller contact wei I give u. Abeg u fit send me back the contact?<br />
Friend: *** Begins to stammer ***<br />
*** Ymodulus calling and calling to plead for the contact***<br />
<br />
Friend: Guy abeg, u go find me something to send u this contact o.<br />
Ymodulus: Ok I will transfer you N1000 to go to café or get data. Send me your account details<br />
Friend: I MEAN U GO BUY THE CONTACT. U no say na money u and me wan make<br />
Ymodulus: ***** so shock couldn’t believe my ears. Hung up the phone ***<br />
********** Long story Short I got the contact back via another means. Through the Q.I *****<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>Example2:</b><br />
This Happened yesterday.<br />
A close business partner, gave out a contact to A FRIEND OF MINE sometime, now went back to ask that FRIEND OF MINE for his belt seller contact. See the conversation that ensured.<br />
<br />
Business Partner: Oga abeg u fit help me with ur contact for Bleep ?<br />
<br />
<b>FRIEND OF MINE:</b> Sorry oga. I no fit make I no lie u.<br />
Business Partner: oga na me be Ymodulus friend wei give u my top Glass seller best clone<br />
FRIEND OF MINE: I no na ** even begin to describe my close business partner further **<br />
FRIEND OF MINE: U should understand that a business contact, 1 business contact can fetch you millions…. Bla blah blah and should not be given out for free. As it’s a business secret.<br />
FRIEND OF MINE: U can tell me the belt you want, and send me the money I will help u buy<br />
<br />
**** Long discussion and lecturing of how sharing contacts are bad continued. Phone Hung up ****<br />
<br />
<br />
<b>2. Monopolistic Behavior even when they were given such ideas on a platter of gold.</b><br />
This is something that I experienced twice. Once with some group on Nairaland and second time of recent.<br />
<br />
You give a lady your personal Kitchen Utensils Contact. This same lady then goes behind you asking your manufacturer that she wants to be the only sole Nigerian distributor. Also other Nigerians coming through her (Including I the Nigerian who gave her the contact).<br />
<br />
Why are Humans this wicked? I gave her the contact without even asking her a penny and she goes behind me to tell my contact that!!!<br />
<br />
<b>3. People Making more Money than you will make.</b><br />
All the above happenings have made me come to clearer understanding of the words Patent / trademark and likes. Before I had this text-book regurgitating definition of patent / trademark and likes etc. Lets be honest the essence of business is to make money. Most times you give out this contact for free, those you give them too end up making more money than you without showing any form of appreciation. </div>

In case you are a Nigerian entrepreneur wishing to do business with people outside the shores of this country and you missed the opportunity to seal such deals at the just concluded Lagos International Trade Fair, then this story is for you. Not only do you get connected with some of such foreign contacts, we also link you up with the distributors of some unique products you can resell and make money.<br />

<b><span style="color: red;">Mr. Ocean Kofi (Ghanaian) - a foreign exhibitor from Kumasi, Ghana – is the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Ghana Lady Costume and Fabric. He speaks in this interview.</span></b></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<b>What He Exhibited</b></div>
<div>
Kofi says, “Well, as it has been our custom for years, we are here to showcase our costumes and fabrics. We have Ghana beads, fabrics, bags sown with fabrics, custom jewelry, long and short sokas, assorted earrings, bangles, rings, among others. The interesting part is that almost all these products are made by us, while we get few from UK or Dubai. Meanwhile, on the list of the fabrics we produce are: the four yards Plain and Pattern and six yards Ghana Kente, which can be used by both sexes and made to sew bags, as earlier mentioned.</div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div>
<b>Price</b></div>
<div>
<b>Kofi says</b>, “Our products are affordable enough for all - wholesalers, retailers and end users, as we just added a token on all our products solely because Nigeria and Ghana are close neighbours”.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
For the six yards Ghana Kente, the price is N2, 500 for wholesale and N3,000 for retail; while for the four yards Plain and Pattern, the price is N1,800 for wholesale and N2,000 for retail. It also depends on your negotiating ability”.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<b>Benefit For Shoppers</b></div>
<div>
<b>Kofi says,</b> “Well, the major benefit is the price at which we are giving people our products. Even if they want to resell, bountiful profits await them, as our products are highly affordable”.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<b>Is He Looking For Distributors?</b></div>
<div>
<b>Kofi says,</b> “Yes, we are looking forward to getting Nigerian distributors of our products. Even when we would have left after the trade fair, people can still get our products. For instance, we have been planning to have our store in Nigeria, though we are not yet ready. So, interested distributors or marketers of our products should contact us and we will send the products to them through either ABC or Chisco transportation services.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<b>His Experience So Far</b></div>
<div>
<b>Kofi says, </b>“To me, I will say this year's trade fair is the best Lagos Trade Fair so far, simply because it is well organised. There is very stable power supply, making us to enjoy our stay in Nigeria. If I must say this, we do attend every Trade Fair in Nigeria - like we just finished that of Abuja and after this one in Lagos, we will be preparing for the Port Hacourt own”.</div>

<b>Mr. Muhammed Ahmed, Manufacturer, Egyptian Cotton Wear (Ladies' Gown)</b></div>
<div>
<b>What He Exhibited?</b></div>
<div>
<b>Ahmed says,</b> “As the manufacturers, we are here to exhibit the fabrics known as Egyptian Ladies Gown made of cotton materials, but of different designs, colours, sizes and prices. Well, the fabrics are durable varieties for ladies even for different occasions”.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<b>Is He Looking For Distributors?</b></div>
<div>
<b>Ahmed says,</b> “Yes, distributors are very much welcome. So, interested distributors can get in touch with us in Egypt and we will definitely send your goods after proper negotiation and arrangement.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<b>Price</b></div>
<div>
<b>Ahmed says,</b> “Well, the prices of the different designs and colours can be said to be okay and very affordable for all - it is like the normal ladies wear in the Nigerian stocks. For wholesales, those who want to resell, we can give it out for N2,000, although, it depends on the quantity you are buying: if you are buying up to 100 pieces - that is one bundle, we can give it to you at the rate of N1,500 each. But if you are buying like 10 to 20 pieces, it costs N3,000. So, there are lots of benefits for intending distributors”.</div>

<b>LED Energy Saving Bulb </b></div>
<div>
<b>Interview with Ezeabasili-Orizu Joel, CEO, Definite Value Ltd</b></div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<b>A Brief Introduction Of Himself And His Business</b></div>
<div>
<b>Joel says,</b> “I started business since 1992 with importation of used items known as tokunbo. But as a company that is focused on change and looking at the trends in household equipment, we discovered that used items were not really selling at a point, that people buy them simply because they can't afford the new ones and not necessarily because they love the used items or because they feel used items are the best.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“So, we diversified into importing the brand new ones because we saw that the new ones where even more affordable and durable. We even give a warranty for products bought from us. We have been creating awareness and the business has grown. And as a way of giving back to the society, any innovation, business opportunity, information or any other thing we feel will benefit the public in their home, work or school we try to introduce it to them.</div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
“In our quest to always give back to the society, we diversified again into furniture, and when you talk about furniture we are talking not only about things you sit on, but also about things you hang on the wall, paintings, lightings or anything that is used in a home or office. All of these are furniture to us. We opened a big outlet in Lawanson in Lagos, Nigeria. It’s a one-stop-shop where you can get all that concerns your furniture; and Lagos being what it is - you may want to get furniture for your new apartment and - having all the furniture you want to buy in one location can be a challenge.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“We try to save our customers the stress of going round the whole of Lagos or Nigeria before they can furnish their homes. So we decided to combine our electronics, household goods, furniture and lightings under one roof to meet the needs of our customers. Still in search of what can make life easier for our customers, we came about the energy saving LED bulb (Light Emitting Diode).</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“LED has always existed but until we started LED powered televisions, a lot of people never knew about LED which is used for our wrist watch, for our traffic light and also some light bulbs. In United States of America today, some states have it in their legislation that their entire incandesced bulb should be LED powered bulbs. Imagine: a country like America that we regard as the world's greatest economic power is encouraging her citizens to use energy saving bulbs, then what about us? This is because they know the importance of energy conservation.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“I can say that here in Nigeria we don't really pay for the light bills that we consume; it is through the introduction of the pre-paid meters that government is now trying to make us actually pay for what we consume. With the regular meter what we have observed is that people pay for the energy they have consumed based on estimations. The meters are from time to time tempered with in other to give a fake or undue reading thereby cheating on the government. Sometimes these meters are tempered with in such a way that they even go bad beyond repair.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“With the introduction of the pre-paid meter, you will find out from those already using it, that it is like the innovation or transformation we saw in the telecoms industry that is taking place now, it is pay as you go, that is, you are paying exactly for your consumption, you are totally responsible for your consumption.”</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<b>Advantages And Benefits Of The LED Bulb</b></div>
<div>
<b>Joel says,</b> “In the past in my house I do an average of N5, 000 recharge very month, and from research I found out that these incandescent bulbs consume so much energy. Imagine a 60 watts bulb; it consumes 60 watts of energy from your total units of energy. If you have about 10 of that type of bulb in your home or office and maybe three 200 watts bulbs for your security light, if you add up all that energy consumed with what other appliances like your fridge, freezer, TVs and even pressing iron consume also in the house, you will find out that about 1,200 watts is consumed from your energy every month. With the LED bulbs you are now going to save more than 85 percent of that previous consumption. The diode is a chip that has a multiple functions, it can do the work of a thousand.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“In this case it is programmed to generate light at a much reduced rate of energy consumed. With a five watts LED bulb you will find out that it even illuminates more than the 60 watts incandescent bulb. And the LED bulb doesn't generate much heat: the incandesced bulb will consume 60 watts of energy, give out 20 watts illumination and the remaining 80% will generate heat. This you will observe if after 5 minutes you put on that light: when you try to touch the incandesced bulb it will burn your hand because a larger percentage of its energy consumed is used to generate heat.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“But with the LED bulb, it gives out 80 percent illumination and 20 percent heat is generated. You will find out that everywhere this LED bulb is being used you will experience less heat and more illumination. It is user friendly, it doesn't contain powdered substances that are hazardous, and is is unbreakable. In Texas in America more than 140, 000 street lights were changed from incandesced bulbs to LED bulbs. Nigeria is place where we need these LED bulbs because of our attitude towards managing resources. What we receive as a nation is about 5, 000 megawatts and yet we cannot manage it.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“The minister for power, Professor Chinedu Nebo, as recently reported in newspapers encouraged Nigerians to embrace the use of energy saving bulbs and other devices. Quoting the minister, he said that “over 1,200 megawatts of electricity generated is being consumed by these incandescent bulbs used by Nigerians without adequate management. This is only a waste on a yearly bases.” He went on to say that if we're to convert to using LED bulbs, that we will be saving about 1, 200 megawatts of electricity channeled back into our reserves - that is the national grid.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“That means instead of wasting it, we conserve it and this means we'll have more stable light. It will even cost Nigeria more to build a turbine that will generate that amount of energy that is being wasted on an annual basis than to convert to the LED bulbs. In other words, let Nigerians abandon the incandescent bulbs; buy the LED bulbs because it will be cheaper at the long run. Now you can see how much we as individuals will be saving if we on our own change to start using LED energy saving bulbs.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“Another benefit of LED bulbs is that one bulb has a life span of 5, 000 hours. That is equivalent to 6 years of usage. Now if you even try to manage the usage perfectly, that is, when you don't have need for any of these bulbs, either night or day you turn them off, you are going to have times two of that 6 years, making it 12 years. To satisfy that what we are saying is real, we back up every sale we make with 1 years warranty.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“In other words, if the bulbs were to disappoint you within one year, just call on us and it will be an instant replacement, no questions asked.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“Also they are unbreakable, like I said before, they don't contain any hazardous substances that could harm anyone, and they are highly environmentally friendly.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“They reduce your energy bills by 83 percent - like I said earlier, I used to recharge N5, 000 monthly but now with the LED energy bolds, for 6 months I'm still on my 5, 000 recharge.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“The wattage ranges from three watts to five, nine and 12 watts respectively. This is for the bulbs: we also have the florescent tubes the two feet and four feet, they don’t contain powder like other tubes do. They are unbreakable, they don't use chokes to start, and once you power it you don’t beg it to come on.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“We also have floodlights as low as 20 watts, these 20 watts is equivalent to 500 watts of the other halogen bulb, while the 50 watts is equivalent to 500 watts of the regular halogen bulb. The beauty again is that with your small I better pass my neighbor generator, you can power up to 20 units of floodlight and the environment will be lighted up like a stadium.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“It can be used at home, office, schools, as street lighting, as garden lighting, at factories, even hotels, these are our target markets. Hotels spend about 50% of their income on maintenance, replacement of bulbs, servicing of generator, etc. But with the LED bulb your generator will work less, you will pay fewer bills and you will not be changing bulbs every week again. Your design can be customized to meet your need. You can get any design of your choice because it is manufactured here in Nigeria by Nigerians.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“In a situation whereby the bulb refuses to generate light if we check it may just be the diode that is faulty and once replaced, you have your bulb working perfectly again.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“Like I said before it is expensive but at the long run you will enjoy it.”</div>
</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<div>
<b>How Can One Market This Product?</b></div>
<div>
Joel says, “Distributors are needed nationwide because this is the work of an indigenous company called Chivitec Nig. Ltd. If you are interested in marketing the products, first you have to indicate you interest by writing us then we initiate a meeting, and you will be trained on how to communicate these values to your customers. From there the company tells you how they can accommodate you and what you need to put in place because it is an open market now and from there we are in business.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“The process is very flexible and affordable - it is a business that you will do and make money if you are sincere. We have not yet fixed a price tag for our would-be distributors, because the product is just three years old in the market. Just come to us and we negotiate terms that will be favourable to both of us.”</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<b>Have There Been Any Issues Or Challenges? </b></div>
<div>
“In these three years of selling this product we have never had one complaint that was not resolved and because our customers are satisfied, they have become our leg disciples that go about telling others about the products without our commissioning them to do so.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“You can be sure to have challenges when you make promises and are not able to fulfill that promise. For the few cases we have had, backed by our warranty, we have responded swiftly and the customers are happy to tell others their encounters.”</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
<b>Final Word </b></div>
<div>
“A stitch in time saves nine. We have read books, attended seminars on wealth creation and all of that, and one basic instruction that cuts across all life’s endeavors is the need to save by cutting costs, being prudent in your spending, this is a life principle that you must imbibe it if you must create wealth.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“So, no matter how wealthy you are, you still need to be prudent in your spending, it is almost becoming our culture to avert our responsibility for others to take. Imagine that we have the capability to operate like developed countries whose economies are automated. The money that will be realized from defaulters alone will be enough to boost the economy, now that our oil is losing value gradually and attention is shifting towards the non-oil sector of the economy.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“My advice is that anyone who wants to do this business should not only look at the money they will be making. They should also see that they are contributing to nation building because the energy that is saved goes back into the national grid, thereby ensuring steadier supply.</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>
“We need to imbibe the culture of conserving our energy. We must always think of ways to help the government so that there can be steady power supply. Don’t ever go out of your home with some lighting points on - you are wasting the energy even though you are paying or not paying for it.”</div>
<div>
</div>
<div>

<div>
<b>FRUIT JUICER</b></div>
<div>
As goes the popular phrase, ‘Health is wealth’. This is undoubtedly true. Even if you have all the money in this world, without good health, your money is really of no value to you.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
One of the best known factors for keeping healthy is consuming fresh fruit.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
They contain all the goodness of the whole product in a condensed form.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Fruits are good but sincerely having to chew some fruits can be a whole lot of hard work. For example, eating about 6 to 7 carrots on a daily basis can give you a significant source of calcium and protein but sitting down to eat 6 carrots can make your jaw ache; but imagine you juicing about 10 carrots into a single glass. Wow! Stress free and you still get the same value of nutrients. And these nutrients are quickly assimilated by the body since the body does not have much work to do breaking it down. And the same goes for several other fruits.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Hence, if you don’t enjoy eating fresh fruits and vegetables, juicing may be a good way to add them to your diet. And you can also have a combination of fruit juice. E.g., juicing water melon and carrot together.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b>NOTE:</b> Make only as much juice as you can drink at one time or in a day.</div>
</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="Amazon Account Health Indicator" src="http://blog.payoneer.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/260x300xAmazon-Account-Health-Indicator-260x300.png.pagespeed.ic.V90_VV2kDH.jpg" /></div>
While there are many tips and strategies for online selling, making money as an etailer isn’t an overnight project. Time and hard work are required to succeed, but if you’re willing to invest you can certainly make it happen. One of the worst outcomes, however, is to reach your sales goals only to have your store shut down.<br />
<br />
For Amazon sellers, an easy way to keep your store active is by maintaining a positive Account Health indicator. Maintaining a positive account health is essential to keeping your Amazon store active, and is dependent on 6 measurements:<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<b>1. Order Defect Rate – Amazon Target: <1%</b><br />
An order made from your store is considered defective if it receives a negative feedback, an A-to-z Guarantee claim, or a service credit card chargeback. If you are having trouble reaching this target, utilizing Fulfillment by Amazon, or FBA, is a great way to achieve a low order defect rate for your store.<br />
<br />
<b>2. Cancellation Rate – Amazon Target: <2.5%</b><br />
This is the number of orders cancelled before shipment, divided by the total number of orders in the same time period. Make sure to provide detailed product descriptions and images to ensure your buyers are comfortable with their recent purchase, and be prompt in answering questions from recent buyers.<br />
<br />
<b>3. Late Shipment Rate – Amazon Target: <4%</b><br />
This is the number of orders shipped later than the estimated ship date, divided by the total number of orders in the same time period. To reach this target, it’s crucial that you optimize your shipping and logistics, and make sure not to overreach with your goals. It’s better to set an estimated ship date that you know you can reach, rather than advertising an attractive ship date that you fail to deliver on.<br />
<br />
<b>4. Policy Violations – Amazon Target: 0%</b><br />
Each Amazon account has a notification section, which includes important updates and notices from Amazon. Make sure to actively check your account’s notification section and adhere to all policy updates. Failure to check your account notifications and comply with Amazon policies will result in the closure of your store.<br />
<br />
<b>5. On-Time Delivery – Amazon Target: >97%</b><br />
This is the percentage of packages received by the estimated delivery date. As a seller, your responsibility is to make sure that items are shipped promptly, and by a reliable shipping service. Saving money by using low cost shipping methods can help in the long run, but may risk the long term closure of your store.<br />
<br />
<b>6. Contact Response Time – Amazon Target: >90% less than 24 hours</b><br />
Amazon sets a high standard for customer service, and expects all 3rd party sellers to maintain those standards. You should make sure that all messages and inquiries are replied to as soon as possible, and certainly within 24 hours.<br />
<br />
Reaching these targets can be especially difficult during the holiday season, as stores see a huge increase in traffic. A pro tip is to have a few extra hands on deck during the holiday rush. If this is your first holiday season, it’s better to be over prepared than to be underprepared and have your store shutdown during the largest sales period of the year.<br />
<br />
While these measurements are for the Amazon.com marketplace, Amazon sets the industry standard for customer service and satisfaction. If you are selling on other marketplaces, such as eBay, Etsy, and Wish.com, optimizing your store for these 6 measurements is a great way ensure your store stays open.<br />

<br />
Folorunsho is the only woman on the list and the second richest woman in Africa.<br />
<br />
Folorunsho Alakija’s winding path to becoming the second richest woman in Africa began in London, where she pursued secretarial studies and fashion design as a young woman. (She and her sister were reportedly the only two of her father’s 52 children sent abroad to study).<br />
<br />
After returning to Nigeria to work as an executive secretary for several corporations, including the former First National Bank of Chicago, she founded her own tailoring company, Supreme Stitches.<br />
<br />
With clients such as former first lady Maryam Babandiga, her company quickly rose to prominence among Nigeria’s high society.<br />
<br />
Her closeness with Babandiga proved even more valuable when the Ministry of Energy approved her oil prospecting license in 1993, granting her a lucrative block in Nigeria’s coastal waters. Famfa Oil, which she controls, now holds a 60% stake in the oil field. It pumps about 200,000 barrels a day.<br />

Alakija continues to work toward a better future for Nigeria. In 2008, she founded The Rose of Sharon Foundation, which works to help widows and orphans.<br />

<br />
In April he announced $9 billion in financing from a consortium of local and international lenders to construct a private oil refinery and fertilizer and petrochemical complex in the country.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<img alt="iStock_000017348358_Full" height="509" src="http://blog.payoneer.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/500x399xiStock_000017348358_Full-300x239.jpg.pagespeed.ic.kK8GjihAhk.jpg" style="text-align: left;" width="640" /></div>
It’s late November and for Amazon marketplace sellers; the holiday sales season is well underway. To make the most out of quickly approaching holidays like Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas, your business needs to have a solid fulfillment plan in place.<br />
<br />
Amazon offers a service called “Fulfillment By Amazon (FBA)”, where it handles third-party sellers’ back-end operations, including storage, fulfillment, and customer service. Sellers simply ship their inventory to Amazon, which then manages the entire fulfillment process once an item is purchased, giving sellers the space to concentrate on improving their bottom line.<br />
<br />
Here are 7 benefits of FBA that can increase your sales this holiday season:<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<b>1. Products in Amazon FBA have access to Amazon Prime members:</b> More than 20 million Amazon customers subscribe to Amazon Prime (about 10% of its customer base). And on average, Prime members spend twice the amount on Amazon per year as non-Prime shoppers. By using FBA, sellers get prime real estate in front of Amazon’s most active shoppers. Sellers can also place an Amazon Prime widget on their webstores, to increase buyer trust.<br />
<br />
<b>2. Your products are more likely to win the Buy Box: </b>Amazon’s algorithm gives strong preference to products whose sellers meet Amazon’s high standards of customer experience. Because products in FBA are fulfilled by Amazon’s own teams, sellers are guaranteed a quick, consistent fulfillment experience for their products. Become a featured seller and win the Buy Box to immediately improve the trust of your buyers and increase sales.<br />
<br />
<b>3. Exclusive access to last-minute holiday shoppers:</b> The holiday season usually brings a wave of last-minute shoppers. Amazon’s Fulfillment Centers are used to seeing last-minute orders during the holiday season and are fully equipped to handle them, so you can run last-minute holiday promotions with confidence!<br />
<br />
<b>4. Improve customer service:</b> Customer service excellence is at the core of Amazon’s success. Customers can contact Amazon customer support via phone or email day or night and this service is provided at no charge to you. Sellers can count on FBA to handle shipping, issues, returns and to offer a growing selection of customer benefits such as gift wrapping.<br />
<br />
<b>5. Fulfill orders from other sales channels:</b> With Multi-Channel Fulfillment you can fulfill orders from other sales channels using your inventory stored at an Amazon fulfillment center. Amazon FBA allows you to streamline your fulfillment operations and manage orders from various other marketplaces or your own webstore all in one place.<br />
<br />
<b>6. Increase international exposure:</b> FBA sellers can leverage Amazon’s advanced global fulfillment network to easily reach international customers at no added expense and far less hassle. Amazon currently enlists no extra FBA charge to sellers for international delivery; therefore, sellers can use this program to gauge the interest of certain products in various countries<br />
<br />
<b>7. FBA is more cost effective than outsourcing 3rd party shippers:</b> Identifying a handful of shipping centers in strategic locations can be an overwhelming task. Every drop shipper has unique requirements/ pricing, and sellers are responsible for getting products to these locations and managing relationships with each of them. Amazon FBA allows you to streamline operations for both products sold on Amazon or elsewhere.<br />
<br />
The holiday season is well underway and it’s important you make the most of it. According to Amazon, a 2013 survey revealed that 73% of FBA respondents said their unit sales on Amazon.com increased by more than 20%. Utilize the FBA Revenue Calculator and determine whether “Fulfilment By Amazon” is right for you. Are you utilizing FBA…let us know your experience in the comments below!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JmLMVxZMPsA/VHNoBocbMwI/AAAAAAAAaJQ/0zTc17uZHYE/s1600/Family-Business.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-JmLMVxZMPsA/VHNoBocbMwI/AAAAAAAAaJQ/0zTc17uZHYE/s1600/Family-Business.jpg" /></a></div>
Family businesses control a significant portion of Africa’s economy. While family businesses are quite common across the continent, only a handful of them enjoy longevity. The survival rate of most African family businesses beyond the founder’s generation is extremely low. For example, the late Nigerian business mogul Moshood Kashimawo Abiola, who at one point was believed to be one of the wealthiest men in Africa, successfully built one of Nigeria’s biggest business empires consisting of an airline, a chain of newspapers, extensive real estate, fisheries and retail. After his death in 1998, his businesses crumbled. None of them exist today.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
I set out to produce a list of 10 successful African family businesses, canvassing my database of African companies and entrepreneurs to find families that have successfully passed on business entities to successive generations. To do so, I enlisted a panel of 8 judges from across Africa to help identify African companies with annual revenues of $50 million or more, where the share capital controlled by the family members is in at least its second generation and the family controls at least 30% of the company’s equity and voting rights.<br />
<br />
Cut across luxury goods to construction, agriculture, banking and retail, these are the most successful African family businesses that have sustained the vision for decades and are poised to prosper for generations to come.<br />

<br />
Year Founded: 1966<br />
<br />
Founder: Raymond Ackerman<br />
<br />
Country: South African<br />
<br />
When Raymond Ackerman was fired from his position as a Managing Director at South African food retailer Checkers in 1966, he used his severance package to buy up three retail outlets in Cape Town which traded under the name Pick n Pay. Ackerman built Pick n Pay to become one of the most popular and largest retail outlets in South African by building a strong reputation as a consumer champion and fighting supplier cartels in bread, petrol, cigarettes and many other industries. Pick n Pay now has close to 800 stores in Southern Africa.<br />
<br />
Raymond Ackerman stepped down from his role as Executive Chairman of the company in 2010, giving way for his first son Gareth Ackerman to take over as Chairman. Gareth is still working hard to prove himself. Pick n Pay is the second largest grocer in South Africa, but in the last couple of years the company has lost significant market share to rivals such as Woolsworth and Shoprite while struggling to adopt new information technology and distribution systems. Pick N Pay is listed on the Johannesburg bourse, but it still remains a family business for the most part. The Ackerman Family trust owns 53% of the company’s stock and Gareth’s siblings occupy senior positions in the company: his sister, Suzanne Ackerman-Berman, serves as Transformation Director at the company while Jonathan Ackerman is Executive Director.<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">
<img height="363" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-Bc8N8YJqTBs/UjzfxatAPxI/AAAAAAAABXA/k0qTKNx6GHk/s400/Things-you-may-not-know-about-Nigeria.png" width="400" /></div>
London – Dr Olusegun Aganga, the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, on Sunday said Nigeria still ranked fourth in the global ratings on nations with high returns on investment.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
“When you talk of returns on investment, Nigeria ranks fourth with an average return on investment of about 36 per cent, which compares to about 6.6 per cent globally,’’ Aganga told newsmen at the end of the 17th session of the Honorary International Investment Council (HIIC), held in London.<br />
<br />
He said reforms and policies in all sectors of the Nigerian economy continued to attract good investment flow, with infrastructure and power having the most opportunities for investments.<br />
<br />
“Currently we have a pipeline commitment of at least 59 billion dollars in different sectors of the economy and that excludes the commitment in the power sector.<br />
<br />
“In power alone, we have commitment of over 60 billion dollars over the next five to eight years.<br />
<br />
“So, if you are looking for a home for foreign direct investment (FDI), then I will say power is one of the very important sectors and the biggest opportunity,’’ Aganga said.<br />
<br />
He said opportunities in the power sector cut across the value chain involving power generation, transmission, distribution and production of the turbines.<br />
<br />
The Minister also said the return on investment in the road sector was equally high, especially in areas with toll routes.<br />

In quality, design and patronage, Nigerian cobblers are making exquisite pieces that are competing favourably with footwear manufactured in other parts of the world. It is a growing trend that experts say will continue. This edition of SuccessDigest details how anyone can start a promising business in this sector, grow it substantially and make lots of money consistently.<br />
<br />
<b>Why Enter Shoe Manufacturing Business?</b><br />
<b></b><br />
<a name='more'></a><b><br /></b><br />
Yinka Olamiti, a lawyer who resides in Ogba, Lagos, says the business of shoemaking in Nigeria is becoming a lucrative one. “Nigerians today have increasingly shown keen interest in locally produced shoes and are beginning to purchase more of them instead of foreign-made shoes or second-hand imported shoes. Because of locally manufactured shoes, people can now change their shoes more affordably. This is especially true of women who want a different pair of shoe for every dress in their wardrobe”, he says.<br />
<br />
<b>Okwuchukwu Udeh is the Managing Director of Udeh Shoes, located in Lawanson, Surulere, Lagos. </b>He says, “In the past people saw locally produced shoes as inferior shoes. Now, local shoe brands compete well with shoes made in Italy and other European countries. This fact may not apply to the super rich individuals, but the middle class, who constitute the majority among consumers, currently engage robustly in this growing trend. Shoe making is a low risk business and elementary knowledge of business teaches that if you are selling something that people need, you will always have an entire human race worth of potential customers”.<br />
<br />
Mr. Femi Omole, CEO, O’tega Shoes says, “The market is big considering the fact that everyone needs to wear shoes. The demand for shoes is a continuous cycle. People need to change their shoes and come to think of it, no one can have only one shoe. Some people are shoe lovers and they can have over 10 pairs of shoes. I think I can categorically tell you that 50% of male folks now patronize local brands and the number keeps increasing on a daily basis. So, the market is very large. If you sell or produce what people need and you do it well, you would never lack patronage”.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">How They Started</span></b><br />
Monalisa Abimbola Azeh is the Chief Executive Officer of Mona Matthews Shoes. She is also a trained lawyer who has practiced for 17 years. She says, “I had attempted this business twice. I started and stopped and started again. The first time I made shoes was because I didn’t find what I wanted in the shoes that were available.<br />
<br />
My feet are not the standard size type of feet, so it takes some kind of specialization to make my shoes. When I was much younger, I could find shoes that fit me even if I travelled abroad but as I began to grow I discovered that I couldn’t find my size even overseas. In fact on a particular trip I couldn’t find a shoe to wear so I just bought some slippers. But I came to realize something - that some people, most especially our drivers, house helps; youngsters were actually wearing real leather and the so called ‘elite’ were wearing synthetics because most of the people selling shoes in Nigeria were going abroad to bring in shoes made in China.<br />
<br />
“The elite will buy from the boutique, shoes made in China; while their drivers, cleaners, messengers would go to a local shoe maker and have them make shoes or pam sandals from real leather or buy from a second hand market, real leather used shoes from abroad. After my observations I realized two things, one, that there were shoemakers in Nigeria who actually make real leather shoes that an average human being could wear. I also realized that we have real leather in Nigeria.<br />
<br />
So I started asking questions: Where can I get a shoemaker? I eventually got one but when I told him I wanted to make shoes, he said he doesn’t make shoes for women; but as a person I don’t take no for an answer. Reluctantly, he agreed to make the shoe for me. I was just glad about the fact that I would be wearing real leather and something that fits me. But when my friends saw it, they were asking me where I got the ugly shoe I was wearing? They told me of someone who could make something better and who apparently had been making ladies shoes and was disposed to the intricacies of making women shoes.<br />
<br />
Having found the right person all I then needed to do was to design and he would make them for me. When I started wearing the shoes made by this other experienced guy, friends began to ask me again who made these shoes for me, saying that they like it and they wanted it and I knew it was genuine interest - so I made for them. I also made for some family members and colleagues. There was really no vision for it then because it was a side thing at that time. But when orders started coming in and the shoemaker started messing up, I just put the whole thing aside.<br />
<br />
“Time went by, I changed jobs, changed my church and I got another job. Before I knew it, orders started coming again and I knew it was time to do something with my life but I just didn’t know what to do because I studied Law and I had run my own chamber successfully before I got born again and started working in church. And because I also love music and have done quite a few things in that direction it was a real dilemma: should I go into music or do the shoe business?<br />
<br />
“So I had to meet my pastor and told him I wanted to move on and he asked me what I wanted to do? I told him my options, and he asked me to seek the face of God - so I did and I heard God said to me, “Go and make shoes”. Of all the things I could do I was wondering, why shoes? But because I knew God had spoken to me, I had no doubt in my mind and that was how this whole thing started.<br />
<br />
“One of the female pastors met me one day and said she heard I was leaving and wanted to know what I was going to be doing and I said I was going to be making female shoes. She was my very first customer, she gave me a deposit to go and start the job. That was how I started. It wasn’t as if I saved for it. My passion and my creative mindset launched me”.<br />
<br />
<b>Omole says,</b> “My starting was by God’s divine intervention. I was one of the bankers that got laid off during the banking crisis in 2009. I had worked as a banker for about 8 years before I was told to go. When we were asked to go, initially, I didn’t see losing my job as an unfortunate incident or challenge because I felt I could easily get another job because of my experience. But after several attempts without getting a job, the reality dawned on me. So, one day, I sat myself down and was thinking of something else I could do to feed and maintain my family. I was just thinking about the everyday things people make use of and that was how the idea of shoemaking came.<br />
<br />
“So, I went into the market and did my own personal research. I was already familiar with shoe materials because that was the business my father did. He was importing them so I knew exactly what and what I needed and where to get them.<br />
<br />
While sampling, I realized that another challenge would be the finishing. If you check some Nigerian made shoes - and not only shoes, other products - their finishing is always very poor. So, I had to source for good shoemakers. I got about 10 of them and after testing their skills, I selected just two and they are still the ones working for me till today”.<br />
<br />
<b>Mr. James Livinus, is the CEO of Yakason Global Best Ventures, manufacturer of Yakason Shoes.</b> <b>He says</b>, “After my secondary school education in my native Kaduna State, I was waiting for admission and during that period, I got to know about a school that offers a course in footwear technology. So, I applied, and fortunately I was given admission and I took Shoe Production - footwear manufacturing as a course, which I ran for over two years.<br />
<br />
This actually led me to gaining a lot of interest in shoe production. So, when I left school, there was no big industry that could really accommodate us, but I had been picking some of the little machines - like the filing machine, lasts, among others and I began to sell myself to people around - about my capability. Later, I worked with Total Nigeria Plc. I produced a shoe for one of the staff after which many others began to order. After that, I was no longer living on my salary, as I was selling my shoes and saved a lot of money.<br />
<br />
“Later, I met with a Director of National Directorate of Employment, NDE who saw a footwear I made and thought it was an Italian shoe. When I told him it was produced by me, he was really surprised and said I shouldn’t have been wasting my time in that company. He gave me a note to a director of NDE in the Southern part of Kaduna, where I come from. Getting there in 2002, I was enrolled into a training on how to run a company and write a business plan. I was thinking everything would be okay after that move and got lots of promises from the government, but nothing eventually came out of it.<br />
<br />
“That disappointment actually prompted me to give it a thought that I could start my own shoe manufacturing company. So, in 2004, I registered a company and in January, 2005, I received the certificate. Immediately, I discovered that there is a local shoe manufacturing company in Lagos, so I came down to Lagos and luckily enough, as I came down, I was slated for an interview and at the venue, it was one of my lecturers that was slated to take me. So, I was given an employment immediately, and I continued to improve myself - after four years I left there.<br />
<br />
I had run through various departments, leaving there as one of their designers. From there, I moved to Lennards Nigeria Plc to become the Production Manager between 2010 and 2011. Immediately, I left that place, the Federal Government came up with a programme known as Youth Enterprise With Innovation in Nigeria (YouWiN), which is a Business Plan competition. I enrolled and with God by my side, I was picked as one of the winners. So, with the little machineries I previously had, joined with the award prize won in the competition from the Federal Government, which was about N10 million, I kick started my own shoe manufacturing company - Yakason Shoes”.<br />
<br />
<b>Mr. Badmus Idris is the Creative Director of Captain Bosbain- a shoemaking and accessories outfit. He says,</b> “We basically make shoes, slippers, sandals, and belts for men and ladies locally. I started the business about five years ago, while I was in the university, and since then it has grown much bigger than I originally envisaged. I started as a merchant and as the years goes went by, I decided to focus on designing my own shoes which comes so easy for me, and it has been so exciting and fun”.<br />
<br />
<b>Mr. Femi Oladipo is the Creative Producer, BFEM Manufacturing/Services Ltd - an indigenous shoe manufacturing company. He says, </b>“Actually, I started in 2009, first by retailing; then later I went into production with about eight (8) boys. Our production is on a weekly basis, producing at least 50 pairs per week, which amounts to 200 pairs per month. I believe what motivated me into shoe production was the fashion trend of Nigerian men, because when I started, I actually started with men’s shoe designs before I delved into women’s designs.<br />
<br />
I believe we have issues with what kind of shoe to wear alongside our outfit in Nigeria. So, I stepped into what I think is suitable for men to satisfy their fashion needs. In my own case, I didn’t actually go to school to learn shoe production, but I learnt it from a friend, who is also a shoemaker. Well, I started by buying from him to resell, but in the course of buying from him, I did help him out in coupling the shoes before taking them to the market. So, it was from this guy that I learnt the rudiments of shoe manufacturing, as I studied another course entirely in school”.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">Equipment And Capital Needed</span></b><br />
Omole says, “The major equipment one needs are sewing machine (industrial or manual), filing machine, scissors, adhesive gum, pliers, hammer, etc. Raw materials include soles, lining, and leather. I always preach that one should start small but to start the business with almost all the necessary things needed, one can budget between N80, 000 to N100, 000”.<br />
<br />
<b>Livinus says,</b> “Startup capital is really an essential issue. Like me, while I was in Total, I was able to get Roughing machine and Last - a replica of the feet. I am encouraging those without work out there and are waiting for a particular cash to flow in; if they have about N20, 000, they can get the Roughing machine for about N14, 000 or so, get Last and training for them to start with producing pam sandals, which every Nigerian wears.<br />
<br />
So, gradually as they are producing that, they are building their experience and getting more challenges that will really push them out to move higher. Also, through that, they can move to see someone who will feel happy with what they are doing and will like to invest. But if they want to start only after they have all the required mechanized machineries, definitely, it will cost them nothing less than N15 million.<br />
<br />
“Meanwhile, before a shoe will be produced, the Last must be used, if not, it will not come out very well. For instance, if we are to produce for someone size 42, we will therefore make use of Last of size 42”.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">How Important Is Training?</span></b><br />
<b>Livinus says,</b> “Well, it is obvious that shoe production needs training and at times retraining and the experience that has been gathered through the training is possibly what will really help one to establish properly. For instance, before I joined FAMADS, I had an encounter with a white lady in one of the shoe universities abroad through email and when I asked her how to establish a good shoe manufacturing company, and she told me to get a shoe manufacturing company and work there - even if I’m not paid - to understudy the system of operation. Definitely, it is not easy to make it in shoe making without training.<br />
<br />
“As testimony, when we started after the getting our YouWin grant, the first set of experienced workers we employed just worked for a while and left at once. So, with this, if I wasn’t really exposed enough to stand in the gap before prowling for new workers, the company would have suffered. But immediately the old workers left, I was working day and night to face the pile ups of the job. So, shoemaking definitely needs training”.<br />
<br />
<b>How Do You Source For Materials - Imported Or Locally Sourced?</b><br />
<b>Azeh says,</b> “All our materials are locally sourced, most especially our major raw material which is the leather, Nigeria has one of the best leather in the world. Our materials are all sourced here; we don’t import anything on our own. But in the embellishment is where my creativity comes in because I can embellish shoes with anything. This is what makes Mona Matthews, Mona Matthews”.<br />
<br />
<b>Livinus says,</b> “Well, as Nigeria is, we are blessed with raw materials, as we have lots of tanneries operating in Nigeria and they are producing us the leathers we use. Meanwhile, the tanneries are in Kano and once we give them the specifications, they give us what we want - that has not been a challenge. Though, we have still not been able to get it directly from the tannery, we buy from middlemen, because one needs to drop some millions of naira before they start dealing with you directly - that has been a challenge to us.<br />
<br />
Also, we don’t produce and stock, but we produce based on demand. I can say this is our season - from September when children are going back to school, but we have not been able to meet because we did not have enough raw materials. So, what we do is that, if you are able to deposit some cash for your production, we will then buy raw materials and produce”.<br />
<br />
<b>Oladipo says,</b> “Raw material is one big challenge in the shoe manufacturing business in Nigeria, because right now we don’t make do with our own locally made leather - most of the things we use are imported from China and Europe”.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">And Who Are Your Market And How Do You Promote Your Product To Reach Them?</span></b><br />
<b>Azeh says,</b> “Our target market is really easy for us to define. They are people who demand and recognize good quality shoes. We also deliberately design shoes for people with large feet because we realize that that segment of the market is underserved. We let our shoes speak for us, we focus on consistently producing high quality so our customers are our brand ambassadors, they tell other people about us.<br />
<br />
“We also hold events when we have a new collection, a new piece of our work and we also attend exhibitions where we showcase our work. We also try to maintain a presence on social media so we have a page on Facebook; we are currently upgrading our website and have also begun the process of engaging our audience more via Twitter and Instagram”.<br />
<br />
Omole says, “I promote my shoes via the social media. People that have me on their BlackBerry list and also my friends on Facebook can testify to that. Right now, you can also get my shoes to buy on Jumia. There was a time I was always going to offices to sell my shoes but I don’t do that anymore. My shoes now sell themselves. My customers are now the ones that help me tell their friends about my shoes. Because once their friends see their footwear, they would want to know where they purchased it and when they tell them it is locally made, they are quick to collect my contact details”.<br />
<br />
<b>Livinus says,</b> “Well, until recently, as regards military style boots, we were selling to [one of the largest private security companies in the country, a household name], but for some reasons, we decided to drop their order. We as well sell to private schools across the country.<br />
<br />
<b>For instance,</b> we have a production at hand that is going to Kaduna State and there is another one to follow suit, which is going to Ondo State. We have customers in Warri, Port Hacourt, Sokoto, Abuja and Ibadan. We also believe that, very soon, we will get [contracts to supply the military], as we have designed a product that can really serve them. The Police Force is well in our target list with a product we have at hand that can satisfy them and compete with international products. We also have our websites there to showcase our products”.<br />
<br />
<b>Idris says,</b> “Our customers range from children to adults (both men and women). The medium we use are exhibitions, social media platforms, and online market places. Our partnership with Konga, Jumia and Dealdey has been encouraging and very effective. Also, our turnover has increased and we’ve been able to reach a larger audience”.<br />
<br />
<b>Oladipo says,</b> “My target market has to be the businesspeople, those who are in the corporate world - like I sell to bankers, lawyers, among others. Our resellers have only one issue to deal with, which is the issue of where the shoe is from. For instance, some of our clients sometime ago told us to label our shoes as “Made in Italy,” as some customers won’t buy made in Nigeria shoes because they believe it is not of high quality.<br />
<br />
“So, what we do is that, we basically tell our customers that this our shoe is made in Nigeria, therefore the manufacturers to be on ground for after-sales service. Meaning that whatever issues you have, in the course of using our products, we are always on ground to attend to you. Also, customers can give us their specifications - if you want your shoe to have your name, signature, initials or you are giving it out as souvenir, you can tell us. Here, you can see the manufacturer, not that you have to travel to Paris or to Italy.<br />
<br />
“About our marketing strategy, we have channels used to distribute our products and one of it is by giving it to our wholesalers who sell to the final consumers. We have them in some strategic locations on Lagos Island, in Ikeja, Yaba, among other locations. We also visit companies like the banks and other corporate places”.<br />
<br />
<b>What Are Your Major Challenges And How Have You Overcome Them?</b><br />
Idris says, “Firstly, as a local designer it’s been very difficult to propose our products to some clients. Reason being that, some of them are used to foreign brands and are not ready to shift their taste or choice of brand. It takes a lot of convincing and assurance. Local acceptance is still a major challenge we face every day. Gradually, we are getting there”.<br />

<img src="http://successdigestonline.com/files/large/71a978f9b4544f6" /></div>
There is a SOURCE of all that is. Several years ago, when I didn't know about HIM as much as I do today - and I don't want you to get the impression from that statement that I know everything that I needed to know about HIM today as I ought to; but just that I know HIM better today than I did those many years ago - I woke up one morning and said to myself that if I went to a friend of mine and asked him for financial assistance and he felt unable to help, I would turn back and give up my dream.<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<br />
The sports publishing business that my wife and I started in October 1981 was facing great odds at the time, principally because I knew so little about business management and marketing and not because, as I was saying to those who cared to listen to me back then, we lacked sufficient capital.<br />
<br />
This was early 1986 or thereabout and we were so cash-strapped that we needed someone to bail us out urgently. It was so bad I had to tell my wife that if I returned from Ibadan where my friend,<br />
Chief Segun Odegbami, was at the time, and I couldn't get help from him, I would discontinue the publishing business.<br />
<br />
Thankfully, Chief Odegbami gave me N5, OOO on the occasion. It was a lifeline. And I'm still grateful to him until this day that he was able to render that assistance to me.<br />
<br />
But the reason I'm repeating this story (and I'm never tired of telling it over and over again) is not because of the timely assistance I got from him. What I want to draw your attention to is my stupidity in coming to the conclusion that if I went to another man - a flesh and blood like me-and he didn't help me, I would give up the dream - call it a vision if you like - that GOD gave me.<br />
<br />
Have you ever found yourself in a similar situation? And did you act foolishly as I did on the occasion? If you did, that's okay. That is because you didn't know better.<br />
<br />
But from this day forward, you'll never have reason to tread that path again. I'm going to show you your true SOURCE. Once you know HIM and stick to HIM, you'll never again lack anything good. Yes, you'll not. But you must be prepared to pay the price.<br />
<br />
Who is this SOURCE that I've been talking about?<br />
<br />
Yes, you guessed right. It's my Father in heaven. The Almighty GOD, who created heaven and earth and everything that is in them, including you and me.<br />
<br />
Were you a little bit disappointed that it was GOD that I was referring to all along? I can understand. Many people feel that way. After all, who doesn't know GOD? We all 'know' HIM. And we've always known HIM, haven’t we?<br />
<br />
If you felt disappointed that the SOURCE I was referring to is GOD, then that is the incontrovertible evidence that you don't know HIM as much as you thought you did. Let me give you another example.<br />
<br />
If someone walks in through your front door and tells you that he had been blind for several years and that he recently regained his sight miraculously, and you doubted the person even slightly, that is also an evidence that even though you may claim that you know GOD, the truth is that you don't know who HE is at all.<br />
<br />
What has this got to do with your bank account being filled with cash by the Invisible Paymaster? It has a lot to do with it, my dear friend. A whole lot!<br />
<br />
This is NOT about religion. This is about the truth that will set you free and make you financially free forever. If you are patient with me and you pay attention as I show you your true SOURCE, then living a life of quiet desperation will be a thing of the past for you.<br />
<br />
Are you ready for that?<br />
<br />
Okay, let's dive into it. Would you feel offended if I told you that you don't know the way to the house you live in? I mean, you've just returned to the same house from wherever it was you went to, and here am I saying that you don't know the way to the house. Wouldn't you think I was crazy or something?<br />
<br />
Great! Now, suppose you described the way to the same house to a friend, showing him landmarks and other objects that will make it easy for him to locate the building, and your friend still fails to find it, would that change the fact that the house is where you live and that the way you described for him leads to the place?<br />
<br />
The answer, obviously; is "No!" Okay, now that I was able to get you to agree with me on both points, then let me tell you an amazing story. This event took place in 1974. Prior to the time it happened, I was flat broke. The reason I was broke would not surprise you. I was engaged in a hopeless venture.<br />
<br />
To cut a long story short, I didn't make any money. Instead, I got deeper and deeper into debt. It got so bad that the only way I could feed my family within three days of receiving my pay was to borrow money or beg the women selling provisions in the barracks to sell to me on credit.<br />
<br />
This was the case until one Friday in April of that year when I found my way to a place of worship.<br />
<br />
And it happened. The minister of GOD made an altar call. I stepped forward. I received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. And things began to happen.<br />
<br />
I started to study the Bible.<br />
<br />
Then I found Matthew Chapter Six. When I got to the 21st verse and started to read from there all the way to the end, what the Author of the Book was saying to me was pure music to my ears.<br />
<br />
It reads: "Therefore I say to you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink ...." When I got to this place, I had to pause. Did He just say I shouldn't worry about what I would eat? I had to read that sentence again and again to be sure I read it correctly.<br />
<br />
"Oh well," I said. "That's what I do every day, worrying about nothing else but what I and my family would eat. So are you going to provide it? And if you say, 'Yes,' how would it happen?"<br />
<br />
As I continued reading, I found the answer in verses 31-33: "Therefore do not worry, saying 'What shall we eat?' or 'What shall we drink?’ or 'What shall we wear?' For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of GOD and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."<br />
"Wonderful!" I exclaimed. "Here, at last, is the answer to the question that had been tormenting me."<br />
<br />
But it took me time before the promise could be delivered to me. No, the delay was not from the One who promised it. I was the one getting in His way. I was too anxious. And I hadn't learnt to heed one of His instructions that says I should be anxious for nothing.<br />
<br />
So I was anxious. And when you're anxious, your faith is not in place. But gradually I learnt to trust Him. I learnt to believe that whatever He said, He would do. He's not a man that He would lie.<br />
<br />
That took place 40 years ago. And in all the years between 1974 and now, I have never gone to bed one night and had reason to worry or even think about what my family and I would eat the next day. The Author of the Bible, who made that promise that I believed, has never failed to fulfill His promise even once.<br />
<br />
The Author of the Bible, the one I encountered in 1974 the Living WORD, is the SOURCE of everything that is. This is how Colossians 1:16-17 reveals Him:”For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. And He is before all things, and in Him all things consist."<br />
<br />
And the Gospel according to John confirms it: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. 11/1 things were made by him; and without him was not anything made that was made. In him was life; and the like was the light of men. And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not," (John 1:1-5).<br />
<br />
Yes, that is your SOURCE! If you have an encounter with Him today, I guarantee it will last you a lifetime. Just think about it: 1974-2014. And I'm still counting! And He has not failed me. Even when I went astray, He was still faithful, patiently waiting for me to come to my senses like the Prodigal Son.<br />
<br />
And guess what? He is not a respecter of persons.<br />
<br />
Whatever He does for one person He would do for another, provided that person does the same thing the other person has done to provoke His favour [Acts of Apostles Chapter 10 verse 34]·<br />
<br />
Do you already doubt my story; that He was not responsible for my testimony; that what live just shared with you is not true?<br />
<br />
That is because you don't know GOD as much as you thought you knew Him. Anyone who truly knows Him, who has had genuine encounter with Him, will not doubt my story. And even if you persist in doubting my story, that does not change the fact that I know for a truth that what I've just shared is the truth and nothing but the truth.<br />
<br />

Today’s consumers are savvy comparison shoppers- with mobile apps, social media and online review sites at their fingertips. E-tailers are increasingly turning to Facebook to take advantage of the social network’s 1billion+ active users, engagement and targeting.<br />

<br />
Check out these 5 Facebook Ad tools to help e-tailers drive traffic and sales this holiday season:<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br /><br />
<b><span style="color: red;">No. 1</span></b><br />
<b>Page Post Engagement (Newsfeed) Ads-</b> Ideal for increasing engagement as well as promoting events and special offers, these ads appear on the desktop or mobile newsfeed just like regular status posts, and they can include links, photos, videos, offers, events and more. With Facebook’s recent ad redesign, images matter more than ever. Be sure to include high quality product images and a compelling call to action to make the most of this ad unit.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">No. 2</span></b><br />
<b>Mobile Ads</b> – With 680 million users regularly connecting via mobile, Facebook offers a massive audience for e-tailers. And, with a projected 101.7 million U.S. consumers making purchases via their mobile devices this holiday season, Facebook mobile ads are a must. According to research by Marin Software, Mobile-only News Feed ads outperform desktop ads by significant margins, so be sure to focus on mobile as its own unit (not mobile and desktop combined). For best results, offer a discount or percentage off retail products within a specific time-frame.<br />
<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">No. 3</span></b><br />
<b>Custom Audiences-</b> Sometimes the most valuable audience you can reach is one that you already have a connection to. Upload you email or phone lists into Facebook to create a targeted audience based on existing contacts. To re-engage existing customers, upload a list of inactive customers and create holiday ads/ promotions to bring them back. To acquire new customers, exclude Custom Audience lists from your ads so that you don’t pay for unwanted impressions or clicks on existing customers.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">No. 4</span></b><br />
<b>Lookalike Audiences </b>– Facebook will look at all the profile data of the people in your custom audience lists and create a new list of Facebook users that share similar interests and demographics. This allows you to expand your target market while still ensuring that you are reaching to the right demographic. Further qualify your lookalike audience by layering additional targeting like location, interests, lifestyle, etc. So, for example, if you are promoting iphone cases, you’ll want to target users who are on iOS devices or are interested in mobile technology.<br />
<br />
<b><span style="color: red;">No. 5</span></b><br />
<b>Conversion Tracking (Facebook Retargeting): </b> According to a study conducted by Fireclick, an industry leading provider of website analytics services, the average conversion rate for websites (worldwide) is just a hair over 2%. If you currently sell products from a website (not a marketplace like Ebay or Amazon), conversion tracking or Facebook Retargeting is a tool designed to help you send highly targeted advertising to the right people at the right phase of the purchase funnel. For 35% higher Click Through Rate (CTR)and 34% lower Cost Per Acquisition (CPA), rotate your ad images regularly (every 2-3 days).<br />
<br />

A well-executed Facebook advertising strategy allows retailers to engage their audience and generate tangible results in ways that traditional and online media channels cannot. New to Facebook Advertising? Check out BufferSocial’s Complete Guide to Getting Started with Facebook Ads.<br />
